When I was a little girl I asked my mother for voice lessons.
I wanted to be famous. I wanted to reach the masses with my songs. I wanted to write things that mattered.
The more I dove into singing the more I understood that it was a reflection of who I was and who I could be. The more I dove into the music language understanding what chords and scales did what the more fascinated and awe struck I was. I strive daily to make an impact with my authentic voice. Teaching the next crew of singers. I sing to teach. One of my life's work is to encourage and journey with students to find their most authentic voice.
Why do you sing?
